Portfolio
This portfolio is a stitched-together archive of the things I care about—animals, textures, portraits, ecosystems, and quiet moments that feel worth remembering. I work in both traditional and digital media, depending on what the piece asks for.
Some of the work here was commissioned: pet portraits, album covers, wedding illustrations—pieces that mean something to someone, which is always an honor to be trusted with. Other drawings come from my own curiosity—studies of wildlife, expressive creatures, color explorations, or personal pieces that started with the question: what would it feel like to be this thing?
I like drawing things that are specific. That carry memory. That feel a little strange or sacred or soft. Sometimes I get technical. Sometimes I get whimsical. But always, I try to listen closely to whatever I’m making.

Artist Statement
I’m a biology and computer science student building a studio around the belief that learning should feel like discovery—not a gatekept institution. Honism Studios is my independent artist-run lab for exploring the invisible systems and soft patterns that shape everyday life. Through scientific illustration, speculative design, and research-informed storytelling, I ask: What if science didn’t need a lab coat? What if it looked like a keychain, a zine, a screenprint, or a wearable object? What if it felt like a question you could hold?
As a dual-degree candidate in biology and computer science—with concentrations in software engineering and a minor in bioinformatics—my practice sits between the empirical and the expressive. I use visual design, narrative thinking, and accessibility-focused tech to make complexity tangible, especially for learners outside traditional STEM spaces. I care about building objects that do more than explain—they invite. They soothe. They leave room for questions.
My work prioritizes access, not simplification. I center neurodivergent and disabled audiences, craft tactile tools for focus and fidgeting, and choose ecologically mindful methods when I can—because science isn’t separate from how we live. It’s already there, in every ecosystem, workplace, body, and tool. My job is to help you notice.
This studio is named after onism—the ache of being limited to one life, one experience. Honism is my attempt to bridge that gap. It’s a way to touch all the things I love: science, design, learning, sociology, ecology. And maybe, in doing so, help others see that wonder belongs to them too.
